Mutek MX22

Back in Mexico to continue our long and fruitful collaboration with Mutek MX, the studio signed this year, in partnership with Damian Romero and Cesar Coronado, a scenography conceived in layers motivated by a desire to disturb perceptions. The team also produced the video content, delivered live by Jean-Sébastien Baillat, for the performances of English producer Barker and the promising Nik Colk Void.

In the beautiful space of the Quarry Studios, Baillat Studio conceptualized a scenography centered on the use of two transparent LED walls which, combined with projections, offers a new depth to the visuals. In terms of content, we collaborated with author Steve Savage to propose anaphoric typographic animations, punctuated with highly textured surrealist renderings.
