In preparation for UEFA's Euro 2020, the creative collective Les 7 Doigts and Gypsy Snider were given the mandate to stage the opening ceremony before the final draw. For the video content, the creative committee turned to Baillat Studio to dress the sublime Romexpo hall in Bucharest, Romania for the performance. The Studio embraced the transcontinental mission by creating colorful, dynamic and unifying visuals.
During the performance, the Studio's video content accompanied the 13 artists on stage. The scenographic work of the ceremony was centered on the young gymnast Alexandre Urzica, 8 years old at the time, and on the European cities that would host the competition in the coming weeks.
