About
Vacation™️ is an annual publication, sometimes daring, often offbeat, engaged in the pursuit of originality. It's an invitation to take a vacation from your practice to reconnect with the unhibited experimentation that's part of every creative endeavour. It's a group of aesthetically irreverent international and local collaborators — artists, designers, illustrators, writers —embracing new trends in art and design. Created and curated by Baillat Studio, the magazine is produced in limited editions : 100 hand-numbered copies.
The first issue, Number A - Physically Explicit, released in October 2021, brings together artists such as Neil Krug (L.A.), Eike Konig (Berlin), Benedikt Luft
(Berlin), SiiGii (Espagne), Pierre Poux (Nantes), Mathieu Labrecque (Mtl) and Gabbois (Mtl). The magazine, created in collaboration with Louis Dollé, is printed in very large format and on a combinaison of two papers fine linen and cougar opaque. Still available for purchase on vacationtm.ca.
Vacation TM
Physically explicit is the first issue of the Vacation TM project, the studio team is currently working on the sequel and promises more vacation and a less phallic approach.
