Echoes of Absence

As part of the C2 conference in Montreal, Baillat Cardell et Fils (the predecessor of Baillat Studio) and Iregular contributed to the multidisciplinary exhibition E-Merge. They presented "Echoes of Absence," an interactive installation that tackled our daily interactions with technology and the assumption of constant interaction with other people.

The installation invited participants to share a meaningful idea in a floating sculpture comprised of LED lights. In exchange, they heard the thoughts of users who had visited it before them.
