Baillat Studio continued its collaboration with the International Digital Art Biennial (BIAN) and ELEKTRA. We created the design for the fourth edition of the Festival. Inspired by Walt Whitman’s poem “I Sing the Body Electric” (1855), this new edition featured a series of digital experiences and works questioning the augmented and hybrid body.

Baillat Studio focused its visual approach around a performative work, ΠTON by Codact.ch, which consisted of a sort of organic, rubber Möbius strip reacting to sound. We reinterpreted the images of this electronic invertebrate in a variety of situations: placed inside a plastic bag, perforated, and modified with colour and texture. A green, black and white colour palette distinguished the entire edition.
