About

The universe of Baillat Studio and its founder was built in parallel with that of VJing. Now, the studio never misses an opportunity to dive back into it, even less when it comes to Mutek, whether in Montreal or Mexico City. Over the years, Baillat Studio has had the chance to work closely with Mutek to create memorable performances.

In Mexico, Baillat Studio has created the set design, content and video performance for sets by Richie Hawtin, Acronym and Rrose, among others. In Montreal, the studio orchestrated the video performance of Francesco Tristano, Sonja Moonear and others.

At each event, Mutek is an opportunity for the studio to recharge its batteries by getting closer to its first inspirations.

In Montreal as in Mexico, Baillat has fun creating unique and dynamic worlds for each performance. The result is an archival catalog that traces the creative process of the studio.
